Chapter 418: Hellboy, Abe, Liz and Johann turn over their BPRD badges and Say Adios to Manning.

Outside the Giant’s causeway…

Manning and a group of agents were scouring the area. Scanning the area for a way in to the causeway… to see where the agents were. But found nothing….

Manning: No, no, it’s nothing. I told you, it’s a dead end. *Seeing the two agents walking towards* What are you doing? Go away! *Instructing them* Check their belt locator. Check their belt locator. *Pointing to the one side* Over there. Over there!

It was then as Manning had walked away and began to head to another part of the area to look for the agents in question as well as look for the fighters, Fan Club, Turbo and Macie’s Entourage and the added allies…

They came out from the Giant’s causeway…

Manning: *To Hellboy* You! You took that plane without an authorization, young man.

Hellboy: Manning, here to help… as always.

Tom Manning: What’s going on? What’s going on?

Hellboy: I quit. *Giving Manning his belt and weapon*

Tom Manning: What? Are you serious?

Liz Sherman: Looks that way doesn’t it? *Giving Manning her belt and weapon*

Tom Manning: What’s wrong with you? You can’t all just quit.

Abe Sapien: *Giving Manning his belt and weapons* Watch us. After what we just went through… no thanks to you. We’re entitled to consider this as services rendered. *Pats Manning on the cheek and walks past him*

Seconds later…

Hellboy: *Coming back* On second thought… *pulling out the Samaritan* I think I’ll keep this! *walking away*

Tom Manning: *Pleading to Johann* Come on. Come on! Johann, they can’t do this. Stop them.

Johann Krauss: *Telling Manning off* Dr. Manning, suck my ectoplasmic schwanzstucker!

Liz: So what have you said before, about us living anywhere?

Hellboy: Anywhere. You and me. Let’s find a place in the country. Clean air, green hills. A yard with lots of room to grow in.  It will be great for the baby.

Hellboy then thought to himself a second before looking back at Liz and saw as she wagged two fingers. He gasped and looked shocked.

Macie was over by where Manning was before coming to them. She was unhappy with him and was gonna let him have it.

Macie: *To Manning* Manning, We are all quitting. Wherever Hellboy goes. It won’t be around you. I hate saying this but… before i came to the BPRD to aide with the fighters. And the Agents as well. I thought of you as someone very sweet and dignified. But as things went on… i saw things in you that i didn’t like and i swear… Sweet mother of god… i swear that i tried to overlook them as maybe i was overthinking things. But now after we almost died while saving Hellboy’s life and also tearing down the Golden Army and the Prince… I realize that my suspicions are correct about you. You may be a fan of mine… And i love all my fans. But speaking as the Rising Star…I must say that i am very unhappy with how your behavior was. I find it very inexcusable. It hurts me to say that i am very very disappointed in what you have been doing.

Howard: *Stepping in* As her Manager, i second that. Granted that she may be a tad out of bounds with what she’s saying. Being still young and all… But she’s also an expecting mother. The living conditions were tedious to say the least and given that she’s gonna be a young mother. It could have put harm on the two bundles of joy inside her. I should be the one to have charges pressed over it. But if nothing more than this… I will say that i find this to be truly inexcusable. *Walking away with Macie*

T.Chen: *With Pidgetta and Starflower* You sir, will be hearing from the Rising Star’s attorney. I’m issuing a call to him… informing him of the situation. You are about to lose your accreditation.

Pidgetta: My cousin might not tell you off… But i will. You are not to have any contact with Macie again. No referencing… no mentioning. Nothing. Because if you come near her again… We will have a problem.

The fighters didn’t say anything. They didn’t want a thing to do with Manning. The Fan Club were the same as were the allies. They were disgusted. Not to say that it could be helped as they all were through hell. Macie’s parents and Father Frank was also there. Along with Joanna, Cherry, Katie, Erica B. Gene. Ginger K. Richie Caulfield. All of them. They all were through hell. The 3 girls were there too and they too were battered mentally, Emotionally and just worn out.

Hellboy: Not sure. But right now we’re just expressing our freedom and liberation.

It took an hour for them all to get there and get things set. But there was to be a heavy tail wind to make it over to the location in just short time. Once they were there and with things getting set, Macie was escorted to the side room and with her stuff for the performance. There was also gonna be a Tribute to Macie. (Okay. Now this was starting to get totally carried away. Or was it just seeming to get that way?)

Macie: Eunha, I am Pregnant. And i am also gonna be going on tour soon. January 2nd of 2048. 29 cities in 7 months. It’s been set up by a Mr. Louise Tugglesworth. However i might not be able to do it if i am Pregnant. It will get complicated. Especially if i start gaining weight. I won’t be able to do it so easily. It’s gonna get hard for me.

Pidgetta: It gets better. Ridge… is her Fiance and is the father to her kids.

Eunha: Macie… Macie’s engaged? Gonna get married?

Joanna: Yeah.

Eunha: So… You are gonna need someone to step in and pose as the Rising Star… in her place during her Predicament with the Pregnancy?

Joanna: That’s right. Macie’s still gonna be going on the tour… but the one doing all the performing and all the meet and greets. Plus appearances… will be the stand-in. The one which looks identical to her. That means just one thing… You, Eunha. You’re gonna have to stand in for Macie. When it comes time for the Tour.

Howard: *Clearing his throat in shock* Wait… Wait a minute, Doll. Just hold on. You can’t be suggesting that we produce the old switch -a-roo on both Macie and Eunha. No offense to you, Eunha. But you’re looking like Macie. Talented up the wazoo like she is. However, in order for you to be in her shoes… you’d need to learn her life. Her attitude. Her voice, Her career… Scheduling. Acting like her. Talking like her. Walking like her. Using her terminology. Eunha: I might have to have lots of arrangements made to see this happen. But i’m willing to try.

Hellboy: We haven’t a clue. But you should ask the girl… Macie. She’s made the arrangements somehow. As did her Manager. Her Agent and Adviser had also made the plans for it. It’s a performance.

Sapphire: Macie’s pretty creative. She’s only 16 and makes the intentions of trying to go slow with the celebrity status. But Then she does this.

Black Canary: This is gonna be quite a show.

Annie: The stage is pretty much set. The only thing now is to setting up the sound equipment and getting that all worked out.

Jessica: That would make sense… wouldn’t it? *Seeing the first group standing around* The group is getting pretty restless.

Erica H.: I wouldn’t reckon on that being the case. Because they seem pretty tame. From the looks of it.

The Rising Star is still getting herself set for the Performances and everything but she’s put up a list of 4 songs that she’d be honored to have you… guys, perform. T.Chen: That’s right. I’m the Adviser to the Rising Star. She’s also my cousin.

Chen: Oh… You mean that the Rising Star… is Macie. We heard her on the phone and it called us out here. To do this show. She was saying that she wanted to put on a parting gift for this location.. Where is this place anyway?

T.Chen: It’s the BPRD Headquarters.

Kai: *Nods* That’s right. We are. We’re here. We didn’t think that we would be able to arrive in such a short time though.

Macie: It’s okay. The main thing is that you’re here and you’re all in one piece. That’s what counts. I happen to listen to your CD. I have about… i think 3 of the CD’s. but i love every piece. Every song. The Current Album… The WAR. I listen to the songs on that one most. It truly grabs me. I cherish it. *Blushes*

Chanyeol: Thank you, Macie. We’re pleased to hear that. We heard about you in Korea. You are spoken of very highly. That girl group GFRIEND they have gone around and plastered your picture in multiple spots in S.Korea. Their Record company has a picture of you and the girl from the group… Eunha i think her name was… nestled on the one wall… Side by side.

Macie: *Gasps* Really?

Sehun: Yeah. Macie… you’re young and still growing… But already, you are well known. Well known to multiple Girl groups. There is one back in S.Korea called: Girls Generation. They’re storming up a plan to dedicate 4 of their next upcoming songs to you.

D.O: Plus we’re thinking on doing the same thing. It’s like a tribute.

Chanyeol: You happen to be loved by a lot of people in Korea just as well as you are in America.

Pidgetta: *Overhearing* You better believe it. She’s my cousin. She’s known as the best in the country. A Radio show all her own and i happen to be one of the radio crew members of her show. As is Joanna Barlow, Macie T. and our cousin Starflower. A great radio show too. Perhaps… if you guys play the cards right… you could be given the offer to appear on the show as special guests and maybe perform Live too.

Macie: I wouldn’t see why not. I’d have to speak with Lord Arnold about it and have him give the notice and send the invoice with the offer. But i’d love for you to come on the show sometime.

T.Chen: After the event here and we’re all on our merry ways back to our homes and all… I’ll make some calls and get the Rising Star the access to pull a rabbit from the hat and we’ll all see that it’s a reality. *To Kai* Kai, You and your group will be hearing an offer come your way in the coming days.

Macie: Exactly. I’ll be sure to also promo the opportunity.

Black Canary: So you’re gonna squawk the airwaves with the festive meat of surprise, Rising Star?

Macie: That’s something which is very common for one to do. I do that… The listeners do have the intention of knowing.

Black Canary: True. It’s good to keep the listening public aware. You wouldn’t be wanting them to get the idea that something’s going on and word of it isn’t being spread. That’d spark anarchy and it’d stage an outcry.

Macie: Oh… no. No. I wouldn’t do that. I’m very dedicated in getting news out. I always am in the belief that if it’s something that the public should know… it is a civic civil duty for the public to be told. Keeping them in the dark is a rather dishonest act. I wouldn’t do that to anyone. Never.

It was only a moment later when everyone got to their seats and things were set to begin with the Performances…

Howard: *To the Audience* Ladies and Gentlemen… Heroes to the faithful order. Friends to the talented and bright rising artist. As per the decision of the benefactor of this Massive parting gift which is indeed also Tribute to her. I am chosen to be the host for the show. The Rising Star’s Manager. What she has made reality for you all today is a show that has a block of 3 acts… the main Act being yours truly… The Rising Star herself. Then there is the wrap-up finale which will be done by the 5 guys who happen to call their festive selves… the *Groans* I hope that i am get this right. The Power Rangers… Turbo. Festive team. Cute. Anyway… the first two acts are consisting of music groups from S.Korea. The first one is a group consisting of 6 girls. They are well known all through S.Korea and one of them is the solid mirror image of the Rising Star. This group has out 6 albums and multiple mini-albums. With famous hits like Glass Bead, Me Gusta Tu, Fingertip, Rainbow, Sunny Summer, Love Whisper and Summer Rain… Not to forget Love Bug. Without further ado… Here’s Sowon, Yerin, Yuju, SinB, Umji and Eunha… who together as one make up the K-Pop girl group… GFRIEND!

Tommy: Hey.  We saw the performance you and your group did… It was pretty awesome.

Tanya: Yeah. You girls are pretty good. Really gifted. The Dancing that you girls can do. Lovely.

What nobody caught was that Macie was back in the Dressing room and changing back into normal attire.

However with everyone talking amongst one another… It was no secret that she was not in the same room as they were. The people all converse for a moment till when Macie was back out with the crowd… That was when…

The Vehicles were started to close in on one another and the transforming was going to amp up.

Pink Turbo/Kat: *Pressing some buttons and getting set to dock* Initiate docking sequence now!

One by one the Zords were getting in formation and shifting into line. One by one the Zords were being connected in perfect sync.

Blue Turbo/Justin: Mountain Blaster’s lined up and coming in! Oh yeah… Time to boogie for Macie’s surprise!

The Zords were forming into one machine… More and more the pieces were connecting. The Arms connecting to the sides of leading Zord. “Red Lightning!”

Red Turbo/ Tommy: *Finishing the Docking sequence* Red Lightning coming in for final docking sequence.

It was only a moment later when the Megazord was finished being put together as one. It stood up and was ready to move.

Red Turbo/Tommy: Megazord turbocharge!

All: Ready!

The Rangers all made the Megazord Initiate for a Weapon and with it…

They used the weapon to slash against the fence and Etched into it deep the words:

“LONG LIVE THE RISING STAR. MACIE MELODY LIGHTFOOT! MAY HER LOVE SHINE THROUGH AND NEVER DIMINISH! HER LOVE SHALL RISE HIGHER”

The Megazord then made off as a jukebox and played one of Macie’s songs from her first CD… and at the wrap-up of the tune… produced fireworks in tribute to Macie…

It was as it had been. The Tribute had happened and Macie couldn’t even help but to cry. Not of sadness… not of pain. Agony or of fright. But of Jubilation and appreciation. Happiness and bliss. She was being loved by everyone and her parents took one look and gasped. They were taken by surprise. Plus the idea behind it was one that they were never to expect. It was both sweet and then startling all at the same time for them and it also surprised Oliver and Dinah Lance. They took one look and just stood in mystery. The fighters were in Salute. The Entourage were in salute. Hell… Damn, everyone was in salute. (What the hell is this? a Tribute… or a sendoff?) GFRIEND were still there… They too were in salute and Even EXO. They were all saluting and it was enough to get Macie’s Biological parents to just kneel before her.

Okay, for those of us who have been following this tale up till now. Let’s review something fast. Macie was in the beginning just a normal average girl. Not too popular. In fact low on the social ladder and very low on the respect gene pool. Not that we’d all see or want to see that be brought back… It was sad and crappy. But what she became… was something that no one could disrespect. No one could turn away. The people loved her and this is exactly how we all wanted it to be.

It was 2 days later when The fighters, Entourage, Fan Club of Macie’s, Radio crew were finally back in Metropolis and had been back for about a day by that time and were unwinding. Macie was resting in her apartment… Sleeping. Pidgetta was doing some cleaning and Joanna was doing her homework. It was quiet. Very quiet. But it wasn’t gonna be for long…

A couple hours later…

“KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!”

Joanna: *Answering the door* Hello?

Howard: *Looking at his Smartphone and then looking up* Hey Joanna. Would the sweet treat Rising Star be awake yet?

Joanna: Not yet. I don’t think. She hasn’t awakened yet. She’s still out cold … Why?

Howard: We gotta get her to over to the Mall. She’s scheduled to be there in about an hour. She’s got a couple of Meet and greets to take care of.

Joanna: Howard, you can’t be serious. Macie is in no condition to go anywhere right now. She’s still asleep and is out cold. She hasn’t been able to sleep too good and was up half the night last night vomiting. Motion sickness and the sort. She’s been trying to sleep it off since. It isn’t easy on her.

Howard: I Sympathize. I do. But Joanna, you know as well as i do that when you’re in the celeb biz… there are gonna be times where you’re gonna have to do things that you really don’t want to do but end out doing them anyway to appease the demands of the sponsors and the record labels. I don’t make the rules… I just have to carry them out. Even if i too feel as if they’re just a bunch of hooey.

Joanna: *Sighs* I know. It’s just frustrating.

Howard: oh… that i have no doubt.

However…

What they didn’t know was that Walking the streets of Metropolis…

Eunha: *With her suitcases behind her and travel bags* This city sure is busy. Can’t believe that Macie lives in such a city. *Looking at the people passing by* Wow!

As she was walking on…

O’aka: *Looking to the side from his Poster board* Huh?! *Looking at Macie not knowing that it’s not Macie* Alas… Here’s the Rising Star again. It’s always a good pleasure seeing a fine lass like you around. What brings you along on a rather solemn Sunday?

Eunha: I’m just doing some sightseeing. But am on my way to find Macie.

O’aka: Oh… you really ought to look at yourself in the mirror. Macie’s you. At least… That you seem to be her. Unless there is something about Macie here that i am seeing and it isn’t adding up.

Eunha: *Laughing* You’re kinda funny. But i’m really not who you think. I look like her. But i am not her.

O’aka: You’re not? Ah… I see. Then who may you be?

Eunha: Ever heard of a girl group… known as GFRIEND?

O’aka: I believe that i had. The Rising Star’s usually playing alot of their music. We grown used to it. Actually we seem to be quite fond of it because it isn’t everyday that you get a DJ or someone who just comes and is so into K-pop and all… that it gets played on Air. The first time it aired… we thought that the Local DJ may have lost his senses… but eventually, we grew to love it. Then in comes Macie… and we are hearing it roll on in. Not bad music. We are open to that sort of music. Just that usually on MRHAP… ya don’t hear it. it’s usually a mix of generations of Music that had been done in America. But now… we’re hearing K-pop. Can you say… Culture shock? Heh heh heh!

Eunha: I think that i can. I have been here in Metropolis before. But the first time was only a straight line to the Burke Mansion. To perform at a Christmas get together there.

O’aka: I think that i remember you now. You’re… one of them… aren’t you? You’re… uh, That girl. Yerin. SinB. Sowon. Eunha. Eunha, That’s who you must be.

Eunha: You’re right. That’s because i am her. Jung Eunbi. More known as Eunha.

O’aka: Well… it’s nice to meet you, lass. Very nice. *Introducing himself* I am O’aka XXIII Merchant Extraordinaire. At your service. Welcome… to O’aka’s!

Eunha: Thank you. *Smiles*

Eunha then looked at the merchandise and checked out the items.

O’aka: Ah… I see that you caught sight of the Rising Star bobble heads and coffee Mugs with Macie’s face on them.

Eunha: Coffee Mugs with Macie’s face on them? *looking at the one item* Wow!

O’aka: Yeah. Those are specialty items as they’re commemorative for the Rising Star’s grand devue concert that she’d had back in March this year. You want one to mark your second visit to this classy city?

Eunha: Sure. How much are they?

O’aka: $20.99. But for you… i’ll let it go for half off. It’s voice activated too.

Eunha: I’ll take one. I think that idea would be pretty amazing.

A Minute later…

Eunha: I’m actually looking for Macie. But i don’t know where she would be. Do you might know where i could find her?

O’aka: oh… her… Of course. Macie’s at the Metropolis Getaway arms. She lives with Joanna Barlow, Pidgetta Holmes… Lightfoot, And of course… her 3 young cousins, Her Manager and her cousin Starflower.  Did you know that Starflower happens to look strikingly close to Yuju?

Eunha: No. i didn’t. She does?

O’aka: Yeah. At least… that’s what the popular theory seems to be. She’s pretty close to looking quite like her.

Eunha: Oh my… Well… thank you for telling me. I didn’t know that. but now i do. Do you know where the place is?

O’aka: you bet. It’s 4 blocks West of here as it’s east that you’re traveling. But i’ll assist you one better. Take a look at the building… Look up about 70° That building there… with the palm trees close by it and the american flag nestled on the edge of the roof there. That right there… is the Metropolis Getaway arms. The residence of Macie Melody Lightfoot. You won’t be able to miss it. I promise that.

It was only then that Eunha made her way on over to the Apartments. She barely made it just as it turned out that Macie had already left to tend on over to handle a couple meet and greets. It was gonna be surprising to have them meet again and in fact… live under the same roof as the other.

Late afternoon…

Eunha was in the kitchen fixing up something to eat. Udon Noodles and green tea. When suddenly…

The front door opened and in came Macie, Joanna, Pidgetta and Howard…

Howard: *Noticing a couple of travel cases and suitcases* Uh… Macie, What are these travel cases doing here in the Living room? Are they… yours?

Macie: No. I have mine in my room. Why?

Howard: Because there’s a couple of cases here and they look similar to yours.

Macie: Hmm… *Walking over to check them out* No. They don’t seem like they’re like mine.

Clanking is heard coming from the kitchen…

Pidgetta: Who’s there?

Seconds later…

Eunha: *Walking out from the kitchen* Hello. *With a bowl of Udon Noodles and a cup of green tea* I’m just making myself… well right at home. Given that… as per agreement and what was discussed the other day. That… I’m supposed to kinda learn the ropes of ones life. Macie’s life. So she can rest easy on her… Pregnancy.

Macie: Eunha, You’re here already? That’s fast.

Eunha: Yeah… I guess you may say that i caught some sort of tail wind getting here from S.Korea. I’m glad to be here.

Pidgetta: But—

Howard: Hold on a minute, doll. You got here ahead of time. We mentioned that you’d come to learn the ropes and all that of Macie. But we weren’t expecting you till October. However… Now that you’re here. Ahead of time. Way ahead of time mind you. It’s got to be asked. Does your record company know you’re here? Did you have things set in motion with them so they’ll be aware of the situation? We don’t want you to get in trouble and plus… it’s pretty good measure to keep your t’s crossed.

Eunha: They know. I stopped by at the record building yesterday to tell them about what’s going on. That i’m likely gonna be here with you guys till a little after the moment that the babies come. They agreed. It put the Group under hiatus for that period. But the group agreed to venture into doing solo’s for the time being and just minor things only to keep busy.

Howard: Good pre-emptive move to ensure things went smoothly.

Macie: I agree. *Looking at the time* Oh my. I gotta get ready. I’m supposed to go out to dinner with dad. Sweet mother of gosh darn it all… *Heading fast over to her room to get ready for the dinner meet with her father*

Eunha: *To Pidgetta* Is she gonna be okay?

Pidgetta: Yeah. It’s just a dinner date with her father. She was planning on having an outing with him… along with Dinner. But it turned to just being dinner. However her father Frank, he’s trying to get Macie to attain a little normal life. Just to help level things out a little bit. With the little ones that are about to come into the picture… she’s gonna need it.

Eunha: I would guess that she would need to. I would check out the different spots in the city. But it’s a little dark out now… or will be.

Pidgetta: I could show you around town.

Macie: *From her room* No. I’ll show her around. They need to see me and her as we need to have people convinced by her and me… that she can pose as me while i’m going through my pregnancy. Pidgetta you’ll be her right hand winger while she’s out being me. But make it convincing that she is me and like you’d mess up anyone who screws around with her.

Pidgetta: Sounds like a plan.

A Few Minutes later…

Macie: *Grabbing her cellphone, Wallet and keys* It’s time to go.

Eunha: Where are you gonna go for dinner with your dad?

Macie: Someplace special. Olive Garden. Metropolis has one.

Suddenly a knock sounds off on the door…

Macie: *Calling to the door* Come in…

T.Chen: *Coming in* Macie, I just got a call from the local T.V. Studio… They want you there tonight. Something about a movie deal. Giving you a part in one of the movies that is being created.

Macie: I can’t do it tonight. i’m about to head off to have dinner with dad. Frank’s outside waiting for me. Does it have to be now?

T.Chen: I’m afraid so… They want you there by 7 tonight.

Macie: The best i can do is be there by 8. I promised dad that he and I would have dinner together sometime within the first two days of being back from the BPRD. I am not breaking that for anything. What movie is it?

T.Chen: A Christmas Kiss in Metropolis. They need someone to play the beautiful singing celebrity Penelope Willard. They got Jamie Farr to play the gentlemen caller for the Penthouse witch Angela Lords. She’s believed to be the Grinch who hates Christmas sentimentality. Sees everything as dazzling and won’t let up. But Penelope happens to one night be heading home from a party and was going down the elevator when someone came in and it turns out being the gentlemen caller. Something happens that puts a spark in her and the guy. And since then… they have to find ways to be together without stepping on the toes of the vengeful Penthouse witch.

Eunha: That sounds interesting. Macie, you thinking on doing that?

Macie: Perhaps. I guess.

Before more time could pass them by… Macie, Pidgetta, Joanna, Howard and Eunha got on their way to the front of the apartment building to meet Frank. It was gonna be kinda awkward as Frank was gonna see two Macie’s. One being the Actual one and one who looked like her but was not her. Yeah… Awkward. It was gonna be a busy night for Macie and it was also gonna be another step towards being with the pregnancy. It was gonna get complicated real fast.

Outside…

In front of the Metropolis Getaway arms…

Frank: *Looking at Macie and Eunha* Macie, You feeling okay?

Macie: Yeah. I’m okay. It wsa just a rather bad night last night. That’s all. I must have eaten something that didn’t agree with me or something. That’s what it was.

Frank: That’s good. As long as you’re okay. I don’t like when you get sick. It’s sad.

Eunha: Sickness is a bummer. But Pregnancy is a much bigger worry.

Frank: Pregnancy. That reminds me… Where’s Ridge?

Macie: Don’t know. I haven’t seen him since we came back. I did try calling him last night and was told that he was busy with doing some cleaning. I even tried this morning… And he wasn’t there. His sister answered and said he was asleep.

Joanna: You don’t think… he’s avoiding you… do you?

Macie: I don’t know… but i am growing concerned.

Frank: It’s understandable. He is the father to your kids that you’re destined to have. But i am seeking to give him a piece of the mind.

Macie: Why? Was it something he done?

Frank: What do you think? He impregnated you outta wedlock. That is what burns. Granted that you two were ready… Body, heart and mind… but you should’ve been more smart about it. You have a Job. A Career. He doesn’t. How is he gonna help provide for the kids? With what?

Macie: Uh… The band. Remember that he is a member of Zoey’s band Empire of the Hearts. They make money…

T.Chen: That’s true. I ran into Kang an hour ago… He’s foretold that in about 6 weeks from now… the band is gonna be doing a small tour of 4 cities. So… they’re gonna be getting a break on that. However they already have a tour bus from what i found out. So… the travel agent might not be as effective as it would be for you, Macie.

Eunha: The girls back home… My Group GFRIEND never had a tour bus… i don’t recall. We always flew or took limousines. it was always set up by the record company as they always dealt with the travel arrangements.

Frank: *Pauses* Huh? Macie, who is that?

Macie: Her. That’s Eunha. Or if she is permitted to go by normal name… Jung Eun bi. But she would rather be called Eunha.

Frank: Eunha. Why would she be here? She would be back in S.Korea by now… What happened?

Macie: She’s here to start learning the ropes…

Howard:  She’s intending to learn of Macie’s life. Her attitude. Her voice, Her career… Scheduling. Acting like her. Talking like her. Walking like her. Using her terminology. Lines like: “Sweet Mother of Mercy, Sweet Mother of Gasp, Sweet Mother of shock and Sweet Mother of Seriously.” And the only way to get her suited up for it… is for her to come to Metropolis. Staying with Macie. Learning the ropes of what Macie’s life is like. Going to school. Her School.

Frank: How will that even work out?

Macie: She’s 21. But given that since she and I look the same… I’d say that she could pass as a 16. As could I pass as a 21. Our features are the same… Aside from the fact that i’m Pregnant and she isn’t.

Frank: Hmm… I heard of this idea once. I heard of it. I suppose that we can see it done. Eunha… If you’re gonna pose as Macie… that will mean that for it to work… You will have to be also… seen as my daughter as Macie is. It’ll work. But we have to be smart about it.

Eunha: *Nods* Okay.

Suddenly…

They began to make on their way to the Olive Garden…

It was then that as soon as they reached the restaurant…

Lois: *Looking at the Line* You gotta be kidding me! This line is long. For a elegant restaurant… they really do get busy fast.

Ginger: I don’t think that we’re gonna be getting inside for a while. We might not get in for at least an hour.

Dr. Dave: Carl, That won’t be necessary. Pranking wouldn’t help anything. It’s a long line and there doesn’t seem to be anything we can do to make it go faster.

Lois: A Plane ride over. But i’ll tell you. It wasn’t cheap.

Macie: Are the others here too?

Ginger: Like the Bishops… They’re here. As is Courtney and Miranda. They are also in the city as well. Your parents are here in the city. But you might have known already.

Macie: Yeah. I ran into them the other day or they kinda met me. They know this look on me. So… they’re not surprised. Just stunned.

Frank: How long have you guys been waiting?

Dr. Dave: 40 minutes.

Macie then decided to use her Rising Star Charm, Something she usually would never do…

Macie: Hold on. I think i have an idea.

Eunha: Macie, what’re you gonna do?

The fan club by that time left and went to do what they had to get done. Macie walked over to the inside and worked her charm…

Macie: *Walking over To the Manager* Hey there, Love. Might you be kind enough to let this gorgeous gal here in ahead of the others? I got a father who’s wanting to come and eat here. I was with intention of going somewhere special with him to eat. Something that would bring back some happy blessed memories. I also have a family of friends who’ve been waiting for a while now too…

Manager: *Gasps* Ah… Well if it ain’t the Rising Star… You’re looking for a good meal here huh? I’ll be happy to assist. How many are we seating with you?

Macie: 11.

Manager: Hmm… Well, we did happen to just clear 4 tables… So we could group them into one and make it one table for 11.

Macie: Awww… Thank you. Thank you. You’re really a sweetheart. And if there is any other tables clearing up… please see that the people get their seats and have a table. They have been standing around for a long time and i’m sure that they too are rather hungry.

Manager: We are trying. We’ll be getting the people seated as tables become available. 7 others are also about to be cleared and ready… so it’ll help things move fast.

Macie nods and within that moment she went to the door and signaled for the crew to come on in. They managed to ask Macie how she got the access for being placed ahead of the others… She winked and told them… “I’ve used some of my Rising star Persona Charm and acted very cute like. Gently but with a little sparkle.” They grinned and took it as a good sign. Once they were all seated and with a menu to look at. They looked at what they wanted to eat and just enjoyed the pleasant sense of one another’s good company.

That night…

At the local T.V Studio, Macie walked in and met with the producer that was in charge of the production for the movie itself. She even got to meet the director and then the actors who were gonna play in the movie as well. One was Zac Efron who turned out to be the one playing the suitor or the boyfriend to the Penthouse Witch. The one playing her was Jessica Biel… Macie was very apprehensive and a tad nervous as this was gonna be her first film if she happened to get the part. Which it would turn out that she may have gotten it. She would be getting a notice from her agent Gene. He’d be one to tell her if the part was won.

The next morning…

Macie got up and got ready for another day. What she didn’t know was that Eunha was already up and looking to start the day. She was gonna be shown around town. First taken to the Radio Station and that morning Eunha was shown the ropes. What to do… how to do and shown as to how simple it already was. She was pretty crafty and knew exactly what to do…

It was 10 minutes before 9 in the morning… on the 16th of Sept. of that year and Macie was closing in on week 7 of her pregnancy. But before the Radio show was to start that day… Eunha gave a call over to her group back in S.Korea and told them to tune into MRHAP Metropolis. To listen out for her as she was gonna be speaking on the Radio that morning with Macie’s guidance to help her out.

There is more music coming your way as the show goes on. However let’s get with a topic for the day. I had this idea when i stirred this morning. About thinking of the person that i am most like. But i already know that i am most like your beloved celebrity of the country here. I’m like The Rising star. and She’s like me. We look alike, Sound alike, feel deeply about most of the same things as the other. Only difference is that she’s Half Asian and half Caucasian. I’m Korean. Don’t matter though as i am proud knowing that i look like her and she is looking like me. I’m like her idol and she’s my Idol. So that is what brings on today’s topic. “The person of which we’re most like.” *A second pause* Let’s start off with the Left side partner… Pidgetta. Who are you most like? If you were to be someone else… who would you see yourself most as?

Eunha took to posing as Macie during the show pretty well. She wasn’t as nervous as she may have thought. It was rather a new experience for Eunha. Although it was soon gonna be something manned by her as Macie laid in bedrest during the remaining mass period of being pregnant. Macie wouldn’t be able to do it. One of the things to be manned by her. It was 12 noon that day when Macie and Eunha went out on the town. It was something that Macie had to do to get things going and set up as it was gonna get close to her time of bed rest which was during the last 3 months of the Pregnancy. Pidgetta and Joanna went along with them for backup and to see that things went well. Howard took some time off that day and went over to the local Pub. Zeke’s Pub to shoot some pool. Although there was a no smoking rule. Howard didn’t mind the rule. He was just looking for time to unwind and have a couple beers. Shooting the bull a little…

Gabe: *To Howard* How’s life treatin’ ya?

Howard: It’s okay. Just pretty hectic. Plus now there’s extra company in the fold.

Gabe: Extra baggage? Hmm.. You sure? What’s the buzz?

Howard: You know anything about this girl that’s in town… Someone from S.Korea?

Gabe: No. Can’t say that i would. Why?

Howard: There’s this girl in town… Someone named Eunha. I already know about her and she’s been coming in on the Rising Star’s living location.

Gabe: Eunha… Would she look… *Showing the picture* Like that?

Gabe: She does happen to look quite like the Rising Star. And then Macie looks like her. Strange thing though is that when we all first met Macie… for the very first time… She was short and with a nasal problem. But that… that would be back when we hardly knew her or we weren’t paying much mind. What gets us is that Macie… She was always beautiful, Just one way or the other. She was a real treat. Maybe even 3 times over. Multiple times perhaps. The other part is that the past her… If we didn’t know any better… we could swear that it was just her inner being. Which… i like to think it was just her inner being. All along.

Howard: That’s how i first saw her. When i first met her. She was with stuff on her mind and each second with her… I don’t know what it was… but it was innocence and Love. She had a lot of that in her. Sensitive. The way she was before that… I wouldn’t know. All i know is what she is. Now. That’s how we all see her and the only way to see her. The Nasally part of her or what ever it was that she’d been before… I don’t consider. As far as i see it… All there is… is what we all see. Beauty. Perfection. Talent and love in every step.

Gabe: Pretty insightful, Howard. I could not agree any more if it were me to have said such a thing. Care for another brewski there?

Macie: Not sure. But we should find out.

But that was when he saw a new face with Macie…

Macie got with informing everyone inside the room of the situation and what she was going through. She told them that during the time she would be on bed rest and while being with her career till she couldn’t go on due to the pregnancy… She was gonna dial down significantly on her Agent Duties. She had school to also worry about too. But Before she walked out with Eunha to make off to set a meeting place and get in touch with the rest of the apparent new arrivals that came to see her. Macie: Sounds like my career. My Adviser informed me of a Movie deal. Said that i was being offered some deal and i went last night to find out what it was. It’s a Christmas movie called: A Christmas kiss in Metropolis. It’s actually rather… Cute. Adorable too. I never acted before so it’s really nerving to me.

Sid: You’ll be okay, Macie. Besides that you’re talented in dance and music. You’re gifted. That’s the leg up for anyone.

Macie: I am. But i’m just wanting to have some time to be a normal teenager. However… It’s not as simple as i’m thinking it is. My dad is trying to help me leviate some of it and level out. But the deals keep on coming.

Sid: I can imagine. I’m curious though… What brings you here at this hour? You’re usually… on the go with duties for the Celebrity career. You on break right now?

Macie: Actually… I had a radio show today. I already had that done and i just got done a moment ago with meeting with the Watchtowe Command center. To set up for starting  televising your Radio Talk show. They’ve opened the books and the televised books on it. All it is … is just a walkthrough. To show on how the process will go. But those are the ones that are sticking so far. Your Agent sent me the list and he said that he would meet us over at the location where the meet and greet was said to be.

Macie: Already? Pity… I was not really expecting for anything to come up till tomorrow. However, they can wait till i am ready to appear. I don’t mind doing them. But today was supposed to be free so i could have the chance to show Eunha around and get her bearings in order. She’s sharp and knows enough now to know what to somewhat do… Or the places in this city i hang at. But over the course of things… i’m gonna need to teach her the songs i have on my 1st CD. The dance moves i do for them… And train on how i usually speak. That way… the public knows… that they are seeing me… but it’s not officially me. But one that looks every bit like me. Standing in while i’m down till after my issue is over.

Macie: Yeah. You guys… I’m… I’m Pregnant. 6 weeks in and closing on 7 weeks. Actually… No. I’m 7 weeks in now. Going close to 8. Ridge and I had done our thing on Aug. 1st. So… It’s close to 8 weeks in.

Macie: He’s my Fiance. He proposed to me on Jan. 26th of this year. And he’s already set the date. He and I are gonna be getting married on my 17th birthday. He’s also the father of my babies.

Courtney: You serious?

Eunha: She is. That’s why i am here to stand in for her when the time has come where she’s gonna need bed rest till the day of conception…or Delivery.

Dodie: The Rising Star’s gonna be a mother?

Pidgetta: You can’t help but to shed a tear. But it’s for joy. It’s a real blessing.

Miranda: So… Macie’s gonna be a mother. and a Married woman?

They got back to talking…

Howard: Hey Macie… tell them how we first met. They’d love that. Seeing how much you’ve grown sharp.

Macie: How we met? That’s a good one. I remember that one. *Telling the story* It was on the night of the 25th of March. A couple or so hours after i had my Grand Devue concert… I was at this After party and for a 15 year old to be at a celebrity after party and after hours… It isn’t common. It’s rather scary. I had all these celebs coming at me. Greeting me. Smiling. I had people like Gwen Stefani, Katy Perry, Janet Jackson. Kylie Minogue. Lady Gaga. Toby Keith. Keith Urban. Alan Jackson. All of them just coming right for me. Pidgetta was there she saw some of them. I even had a luncheon with the girls the next day which was really blessed. That night though… I had to be alone to hear my thoughts for a moment or so. So… i walked on my own down a alley and did some thinking to my career. The punks only took it as if Macie was trying to flirt with them… But it was very clear… she was not on that trip. Not at all. Besides that… She had a guy. One she loved dearly. So… what would make her interested in them… Nothing. They pushed her back and forth and played with her. She managed to see a opening and got a couple punches in. She knew to fight as best she could. She got a couple punches in and it got her a leg up…

Macie: Okay… If there is a hero fresh from the fight… Now’s a good time to show up… where ever you are. Who ever you are.

But what they didn’t see…

Inside one of the old empty Oil drum canisters…

Howard: *Snapping out of the daze and hearing a call for some assistance* Huh? Wh– *Hearing the call for Help again before sounds of rough housing kept going**Annoyed and at his limit* That’s it… No more Mr. Nice Duck. Now… I’m pissed.

He then leaped up out from there and…

Howard: *Landing on top of one of the Drums that were on the side from where he was* … *Getting into a karate stance* Let that female creature go! NOW! There’s a saying: “Every Duck’s got his limit and you vile scum have pushed me over the line”

Punk #1: Huh… *Looking at his partner* Hey lars… do you see what i’m seeing… A talking… duck?

He leaps and lunges at the punks and starts to fight them off… Fighting them with his hands and then jumping on top of their stomachs. Beating them…

Macie was by that time free and yet she made a hit at one of the punks with the bar that she managed to find. She smacked the guy’s back and he grabbed it before pushing her down…

Macie: *Falling down onto the ground* Ahhh!

Howard by that time had one of the Punks subdued and placed in a knuckle lock…

Punk #1: *Pleading* You…. You’re breaking… my fingers…

Howard: *Warning the Punk* Now… You and Degenerate Nutball are gonna beat it… Right, Mr. Junkie… Before i get REALLY MAD!

He nods and freaks out. Howard let go and watched as the two punks went off screaming in terror.

Macie: *Groans* Darn it… This was my favorite wristband too. I barely got it hours ago. This used to be Purple. Now… It’s brown… With all the dirt on it. This was my only one and… Sweet mother of downheartedness. *Sighs* I’ll have to clean it when i get home… Hopefully there’s something i can use to wash it clean.

Macie: *Looking at the Duck that spoke* Okay… So i guess that i’m supposed to thank you for that save back there. It’s not everyday that i get saved by a talking duck. That is what you are… Right? Not just someone in a costume? This is really unreal. You aren’t really… a Duck… are you? *Groans* Oh… dear. You are… aren’t you?

Howard: *Feeling a little insulted* You know… this is beginning to seriously undermine my self esteem.

Macie: I’m sorry. It’s just… That i don’t usually come across people or odd types while on my own. I usually have my fan club around me or my Agent… or my Cousin Pidgetta. Macie: Planet? Wait… you think Cleveland’s the name of a planet… No. It’s the name of the City that you’re in now… The planet…is called Earth. I think. I am obviously in some very bizarre Nightmare.

Howard: Oh yeah… Your nightmare… or mine?

Macie: You have a good point. *Looking down* Sweet mother of disbelief. This is too much. *Looking at the time* So… I guess that i should be going. I gotta get home to my apartment. My cousin’s gonna be wondering where i am before long.

It was a rather stormy night… That night was a stormy night and it was by that time… starting to rain and it was producing thunder. Letting loose heavy bursts of rain… Macie fortunately had an Umbrella. She went over to the one side and waited for a chance to cross the street. She happened to look over and saw Howard Stranded and unsure of where to go… or what to do…

Howard: If i had someplace to go… I certainly wouldn’t be in Cleve-land.

Macie: *Laughs* It was so funny. I mean… I was there just worrying about getting my wristband all dirty and here comes Howard. Rather forlorn. Lost. Without a place to go and yet… trying to make sense of things. Why he was placed upon this planet… He was the calm one. Moreless. Frantic and rather desperate… but calm. It’s a little outta sorts as i just had my first grand devue concert and i had to get things all done before i made way to where the Hall of Fame building was. Macie walked to the side and freed up a couple of seats and chairs.

Macie: I’m a bit nervous. Of course it’s understandable as i’ve never been around… I mean… i never had any pets before. although… i always saw myself owning a cat or dog one day. But… it’d be too much as i am usually running ragged with the Singing career and all. It’s just that there’s things to do for the pets. Feeding and then cleaning up their little well… you know.

Howard had suddenly then calmed down and paused…

Howard: A Truck… I… I knew that. *getting up and standing* …*Walking to the other side of the couch* What i don’t know is what the hell i’m doing here. It’s like a bad trip. Using your words or a phrase that i heard you say once earlier, Macie… Sweet mother of seriously… Talk about an identity crisis.

Macie: I know what you mean, Howard. Really. I at times face identity crisis’s too. Trying to figure on who i’m truly supposed to be… Who i am supposed to be and then try to be who people want me to be. *Looking to the side* I mean… I just want to be… Macie. Have a rather normal life and just go to school and just grow up and have a life of my own making. But the thing that gets me is… I already made a life for myself. It’s just that i can’t seem to have figured… whether it’s one that i made for myself or one that others coerced and made for me.

Howard: That’s something you have to really think about. It’s your life after all, Macie. You are the one that makes it how you want it to be. From what i learned about you up till now. You’re a young girl… Just trying to find your place in the world. Trying to figure on where you truly fit in and how. Making sense of the hand life deals you. You’re full of this thing called Love. And you have a lot of care inside you. That’s what i figured. And i’m just a stranger. Someone who shouldn’t be… on this planet.

Macie: I would guess that you’d be right about that. It’s just so confusing though. But… I was kinda… Wondering something, Howard. Does everyone on your planet… Happen to look exactly like… you?

Howard: Clearly… Why?

Macie: No reason. I just wasn’t… sure. So exactly what do you do back home? You have a job? You go to school?

Howard: I went to med school for a while.

Macie: You… You went to med school?

Howard: Yeah, my parents wanted me to be a doctor. Plastic surgeon, making big bucks, doing big jobs, * Shaking his tail a little* tail tucks.

Macie: I kinda have been working on writing some songs myself. But i never tried them. I just couldn’t bring myself to doing them. What kind of songs do you–?

Howard: Listen, It doesn’t matter. It was all a pipe dream, Macie. It didn’t really matter.  I got so tired of people going, “Grow up, Howard!” I just… Well… I guess i finally did. Last month, I got what you’d maybe call… a Promising Job.

Macie: Yeah? Doing what?

Howard: Advertising copywriter.

Suddenly Howard picked up a bottle that seemed to appear as Perfume. That was when…

Howard: *Reciting his work while holding the bottle* “Only two things touch my feathers, This “Oil of Night Fowl” and Him.” I wrote that. *Setting the bottle back down*

Macie: Oh… dear. That’s really smooth. *Smiles* It seems as if though you might have sold out. But you were just doing what you had to do. That’s what really mattered most. Isn’t it?

Howard: Maybe… But sometimes i can’t help but get this feeling that there’s this special purpose. A Special destiny for me out there somewhere.

Macie: Maybe that could be it. I mean… why else would you be like… here? I am not too familiar with the science and the mysteries of the universe. But i had been taught once in history class that there are things that sometimes… Just sometimes happen for a certain reason… Whatever that may be. But for you, It could be like a cosmic cause. A greater Purpose of some sort.

Howard: No offense, Macie. But are you somehow Nuts? I got no real intention of being stranded here. I have to get back… Although, how it can be done… is another matter.”

Howard: It started as that but then i told about my life and how i got to where i was at that point. And the laugh part was when i used Macie’s phrase. For the first time. I was wanting to laugh. But… I didn’t. How could i laugh when i was in a crisis of trying to get back to where i was from. That was at first. But as things went on and as time passed as it does… it turned to be where i was okay with staying. Because there was someone who through everything that was going on. Even though she was with many eyes peering at her… She would risk it all… Just for someone… like me. I even from that point and as it would go on… Became as what you see me now… Her Manager.

Miranda: You’re lucky to be close to Lightfoot here. She’s pretty bright. Emotional…Dramatic at times. But she’s one of a kind.

Courtney: I kinda notice that it’s mostly the girls who have that going on for them.

Macie: No. Guys have that too, Courtney. But it’s just that we usually don’t see it. Or because the guys happen to hide it rather well.

It was a moment later that they were all done with the food and Macie being a sport about it all… She paid for the meals. It was indeed on her and it was the right thing to do. She had once she was finished… Had Howard get her one ensemble and then book a temporary location in the city. It turned out to be a dance hall that was put together for starting bands and performers. It worked well…

The floor was shiny and clean. Howard went to get some chairs. Dodie, Miranda and Courtney… grabbed a seat all the while Pidgetta, Joanna and Howard got the stage set and called up some dancers. It was then that as a moment passed or more… Macie came out… for a minute. But not be seen till the performance began. She smiled at them and felt happy to see them again.
